Read – Office Memorandum No 11(5)/65/D(civ-II), dated the 10th October 1966, from the Government of India, Ministry of Defence, New Delhi.
Copies of the above mentioned Office Memorandum from the Government of India, Ministry of Defence, should be forwarded to all Heads of Department and all Heads of Offices for information and guidance.
2. Government is pleased to direct that Special Casual Leave for a maximum period of 15 days, including the transit time in both ways, may be granted to Ex-Servicemen boarded out of services and re-employed as civilians for appearing before the Medical Resurvey Board for Re-assessment of their disability.
3. Past cases, if any, decided before the issue of these order, should not, however, be reopened.
4. All secretariat Departments, and all Heads of Departments should bring these orders to the notice of the employees of the Semi-Government Organisations, Public undertaking and local bodies under their administrative control and apply the above orders in the case of employees of such organisation.
5. These orders have been issued in consultation with the Finance Department vide its note dated the 26th September 1967, on the Government file, Home Department (Spl), No. SB.II/GSS/3567/3648.
